Ameliaranne Ekenasio drops Good Cube's to Wellington City Mission

We love the Wellington City Mission’s dedication to looking after Kiwis and this year we wanted to support the phenomenal work this 116-year-old charity does in its local community.

The Mission’s passionate team supports people into specialist residential care and transitional housing, provides budgeting advice and advocacy, and supplies those all important food parcels.

Knowing that everyone deserves goodness during the holiday season, we loaded up our truck with 1,600 Good Cube bars to deliver to the Mission enlisting the help of Good Cube ambassador, New Zealand netballer Ameliaranne Ekenasio.

“It’s the time of the year for giving and I can’t think of a better gift,” says Ameliaranne.

“Not only can we give and help people with something that’s a necessity and practical for them to use but we can give something that’s good for our earth and oceans.”

The Wellington City Mission’s Sharon Cavill was on hand to receive our planet-loving gifts. She said they would definitely add much-needed festive cheer following a tough year.

“We’re thrilled to receive a gift that is as practical as it is a little bit indulgent. We know everyone in our community will love having something so luxurious to enjoy everyday.”

We knew our gift needed to be special but useful too, so we chose our Good Cube 5in1 multitasker bar, designed for hair, face and body, as well as shaving.

Each bar is packed full of nourishing, 100% natural ingredients including Aotearoa native extracts kawakawa and kumerahou that nurture and protect skin while smelling hella good! And of course they come in planet-friendly home compostable or recycling packaging that don’t harm the environment.
